ARC Therapy is a registered ICBC provider.  If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident, you shouldn’t have to delay your recovery. ICBC patients do not have to pay a user fee for approved treatments.

Within the first 12 weeks of your accident date, ICBC will automatically cover:

If your recovery requires more time beyond the initial 12 weeks, our team will work closely with you and your ICBC adjuster to get additional treatments approved.

How to Apply

Rehabilitating after an accident can feel overwhelming, but starting your journey toward recovery should be seamless.

Step 1: Report Your Claim

Before we can begin, you’ll need to officially report the accident to ICBC. This starts the process of opening your claim and securing your pre-authorized treatment sessions.

What you’ll need to report:

  • The license plate numbers for all vehicles involved.

  • Driver’s license numbers for all drivers.

  • Insurance information for any non-ICBC vehicles.

  • Report your claim: Call ICBC at 604-520-8222 or submit online at icbc.com/claims.

Note: Even if you are not at fault, you are still eligible for ICBC-covered treatments to support your health and mobility.

Step 2: Book Your Initial Assessment

Once your claim is submitted, you can book directly with us. We recommend starting as soon as possible to ensure your recovery is proactive rather than reactive.

When booking, please have the following ready:

  • Your full legal name.

  • Your ICBC claim number.

  • The date of your accident.

We will work with you to identify the root cause of your discomfort and build a customized recovery plan that may include Physiotherapy, Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, Kinesiology or Registered Massage Therapy.

Don’t Wait: To qualify for automatic coverage, your treatments must begin within 12 weeks of the accident date. If your recovery requires more sessions beyond this initial window, our team will coordinate with your ICBC Claims Specialist to request additional funding.

Step 3: Direct Billing for Peace of Mind

Healing happens best when you can focus entirely on your body without the stress of paperwork. If your claim is approved, ICBC covers the cost of your treatments for the first 12 weeks. All we need is your ICBC claim number.

At Arc Therapy, we handle the administrative side by billing ICBC directly, so there are no out-of-pocket user fees for your pre-authorized sessions.

For more details on your benefits, you can view the ICBC Treatment Access Guide.
